My dearest devotees,
Mistress spent a day at the salon today, having decided to make use of the gift certificate given some time ago as a gift from a cherished slave. My look is rejuvenated and My spirit lifted. I am now an icy blonde.
A reminder: Just six days before Yule! Winter Solstice!
Evergreens remind us that after Yule, after the longest night in the year, the sun returns and so will all the green of Spring and Summer. A wreath reminds us of the wheel of the year, turning from one season to the next.
It is a tradition to be generous at this time of year. I have done so by donating food to the food bank, giving to a few of my favorite causes, and by donating my old wardrobe to those in need. For each family member I choose one very special and significant gift, with a single exception. My son is showered with many gifts, as he is the continuation of My life after Me (Yule being all about continuation). Children have always been celebrated in this way at this time of year, since humans settled into an agricultural lifestyle.
I have made My wishes known. I have almost everything I want. My biggest wish is to have My new movie funded. Any portion of the amount I need by the beginning of the year ($5000) would make Me quite happy. Beyond that (icing on the world's most delicious cake) would be some items from My Yule Wish List.
Wish for My wishes to come true and three of your own will be made real. With that, I will say no more of gifts. Merry Yule to all. Have a cup of warm spiced tea with a touch of sweetness, and relax at My feet while watching the Yule log burn, dear ones.

good news + new moon
I received good news recently that I cannot share, but which has to do with a great success for the last documentary film that I produced! I can hardly contain Myself, but I must wait just a bit longer to make the official announcement. My dear ones, you will be excited when I tell you!
Today's new moon is particularly auspicious. New Moons are a time for ritual and for making a New Moon Wishes. Because the moon is waxing toward full, wishes made now will get an extra lunar push toward fulfillment.
Mistress Zaynab's NEW MOON WISHES:
1.) I wish for for good health for Myself and all those close to Me.
2.) I wish for ENOUGH - this means enough of all I need (particularly enough money to pay all My bills, pay off any debts, support My one dear offspring, and have all the little pleasures that make Me feel content.
3.) I wish THE BIG WISH - for funding to complete my current documentary film.
4.) I wish to meet slaves who will be loyal, consistent, patient, adoring, skilled, obedient, and generous (in effort, time, and money).
As for particular material wants, I do have a wish list, and I am always pleased to receive gifts. Of course, I love it! But this year, the people I care for, and My new movie are My two priorities.
A contribution to My movie fund would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to raise $5000 by the beginning of 2008 and $25,000 over all in private contributions. I accept PayPal donations at Mistress@MistressZaynab.com.
