holiday time
Hello My sweet subbies, servants, slaves,
The holidays approach and Mistress has several important wishes for Yule and the New Year!
1.) A good car to drive to Colorado between Dec. 27 and Jan. 4 (with 2 family members) and visit a dear close relative who just completed chemotherapy for Her breast cancer -OR- Three plane tickets from Chicago to Denver. Lend Me your car, rent Me a car, buy us three tickets... anything that gets us to Denver! I don't need a dirver this time. Just transportation.
2.) A hard drive for my new movie (THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR)
3.) $25,000 to get my new movie off the ground (that's not much considering how much most movies cost to make). This would be used to pay the character designer, animator, and editor to work on this feature length documentary. The interviews are shot. Now I need money to finish! I am awaiting a response from many grants to which I've applied, but I need at least $10,000 by the end of January to get the animation started (it's a documentary that is about 50% animated). Any amount earmarked for this project would be a step in the right direction. (investors who contribute $10,000 or more will get a series of slave training videos made especially for them, sent once a month for a year). I accept PayPal to Mistress@MistressZaynab.com.

UPdates
First I want to take a moment to send my condolences to My special footpuppy regarding his recent loss. My thoughts are with you, sweet one.
Secondly, I want to send a note of thanks to the slaves who sent birthday gifts. I received a few unexpected surprises! I can sense some of you lurking out there, still frightened to approach. I'll look forward to the day when you bow before Me.

Also, the reason for My recent silence is quite good news. I have the core of My new documentary on tape and ready to shape into a feature length movie. I am quite pleased about this. I have decided that bits of the movie - reenactments - need to be animated in a very specific style relevant to the subject matter. Most of My time has been spent pouring over demo reels from a large number of animators applying for the job.
I've also been trying to get some funding to get said animator started when I choose the right one. What I really need is a hero... No, sorry that song just popped into My head. What I really need is a $15,000 investment to assemble the pieces of the puzzle required to go into post production (namely the animation!). I am determined to get this movie out into the world in 9 months - just like a human baby. Small investments here and there have gotten it this far, and now there's no turning back. But not to be dependent entirely on the kindness of strangers, I am applying to the Sundance Documentary Lab. They offer special grants for the development of documentary films. And the grant writing doesn't stop there. I have much work ahead of Me. Those slaves particularly talented at grant research and proposal writing could also get My attention by lending their skills. I am a Master at this and I have already received a number of grants for past projects. But anyone who can take a little of the work load off of Mistress and speed up the process would please Me.
A filmmaker's work is never done. Literally. Even My recent film that had a theatrical release and a great review in Variety still requires some attention. There are still DVD and cable deals to negotiate.
With all of this on My plate the farm project is on temporary hold. My grandmother has agreed to hold off on selling to someone else. This is good news. It means I can take my time in developing the artist retreat. If it does not happen, of course I will be heart-broken. I still hold onto hope that this dream will come true. But at least for now, it's on the "one day in the future" list, rather than in the "must solve immediately" category. I must prioritize My goals after all.
I'm rambling. My passion for My work gets the better of Me sometimes.

Dear ones, I'm looking forward to the upcoming visits from several of you in the next week. And for those who are ready to apply to serve Me, don't forget My protocol and preferences. After all, you cannot expect any Woman to invite you into Her Space without knowing a bit about you first. That would be foolish, and you would be a fool to expect it.
Let's review:
1.) A photograph of yourself pleases Me greatly.
2.) A reference from a Domme whom you have previously served is the BEST way to be given a chance to serve Me. This means a link to Her we site or ad, and contact information (e-mail preferred). Contacting Her in advance to ask Her to give you a reference is always helpful. Going to a Pro Domme for the sole purpose of getting a reference to please Me does leave an excellent impression, and is rewarded. Don't hesitate to ask Me who I'd recommend.
3.) If you have no reference, and for some reason can't get one, I do make an occasional exception. In this case, you must share some particular details about yourself so that I can be certain that you don't have a record of harming others (yes, you must bare all and be 100% vulnerable to Me. I have to know your real name, birth date and other particulars which will be checked against your photo ID when we finally meet). Then, you may invite Me plus one of My Domme friends out to lunch. If I am impressed with your manners, and get a good sense of you, I will invite you to serve at a later date.
4.) Remember that Mistress LOVES gifts. Send one in advance and it may get you a warmer reception (My mailing address is on My wish list page).
5.) The more you tell Me about your experiences and the things that make you feel must submissive, the better I can determine if you are the right kind of slave/servant for Me. Let Me know all the things you think about when you're alone with your thoughts. Tell Me why you decided to write to Me. I want to know who you are. Read My web site to make sure I am the Domme about whom you dream.
6.) A polite, respectful, and servile style of communication leaves an excellent impression. And as I have said many times PATIENCE in our interactions is REQUIRED. I may take a some time to write back. No complaining is allowed. Remember, I am in control, and you must wait for Me to be ready to respond. However, if you have not heard from Me after a few days, a very polite, non-bitchy e-mail reminding Me of your eagerness to serve is acceptable. As you know, I'm a busy Woman and I may inadvertently overlook an e-mail or two now and again. Consider a nice, fawning note of reminder - a subtle way of refocussing My attention on you.
Really, all of this is common sense if you remember your position in regard to Me. To serve Me, you must take the attitude that it is all about pleasing Me. Whatever I want, goes. If I tell you to do something, you obey without question. Of course I know you have your own submissive likes and desires, and you must have faith that I will respond to those when I'm feeling generous. When I'm happy and satisfied with you, that can be a regular occurrence.
