a lovely birthday + advice
Dearest devotees,
I was very pleased to receive so many lovely birthday gifts. Some arrived with no hint as to the giver, while others hinted without offering a name. So the mysteries abound.
The boots will keep My feet cozy for the winter ahead, and the books, CDs and videos will offer endless amusement and inspiration. I now have a gorgeous supply of scarves, stockings, and items of wearable beauty with which I plan to adorn myself for some time to come.
I still await a much needed hard drive, but I suppose that some slave will see fit to send this in the future.
But, at last I have my throne! A delightful seat and foot rest decorated with baroque Indian tapestry and extraordinary detail. The slave who delivered this item saw to it that his Mistress's every wish was catered to over the past weekend, acting as chauffeur, as My personal massage therapist and pedicurist, running errands, accompanying Me to dinner and providing rich vegan chocolate cake, as well as his assistance on the set of a movie that I am producing (as some of you know, Film Producer is My job in the mundane side of life). This exceptional creature is a model slave, and I can only hope to hold My other devotees up to his example.
This one is a slave of very little means but has offered Me all that he has just to please Me. Often wealthy slaves can be far less generous both in monetary terms, and in spiritual terms. I am completely spoiled. I can no longer tolerate the self-centered sub. The bar has been raised, and all of you should attempt to live up to My new expectations. How much of yourself will you give in hopes of gaining My praise?
Now, I finally have a moment to breathe and begin reading the e-mails from the past week. I have been a bit neglectful due to My worldly responsibilities. If at any time it seems to take forever for Me to respond, remember My rule of thumb. Be politely and respectfully persistent. Send exceptionally courteous reminders. Unless I explicitly state that I don't wish to see you, then assume that I will eventually respond. I lead a busy life in My occupation. I have a legion of volunteers and employees who look to Me for guidance, even outside of My private realm of D/s. Those devotees and potential slaves who recognize this and do not give up and do not express annoyance are the ones who will find a place at My feet. It may seem difficult to get to Me. It is deliberately so.
