project title:
Why Should I Live?
producer: Melinda
Adams
director: Whatever
friends I can drag into this
writer: Life
cast &crew:
People I meet on the streets and the bus.
tagline: In this time of turmiol - a positive, humorous, realistic,
dark twisted look...
treatment:
I plan to go up to
people on the street, on the bus, in the bars - ask them what would they say
to a person, who was planning to kill themselves. Basically I want to tell
me what is the most important thing in life for them - the reason the get
up every morning an tackle the day. It will be a look into what really matters
to the average or not so average San Francisco person on the street.
statement of style:
I have a digital high -8, which I plan to film with and it will be a montogue
of whacky interviews and comments by people. It will be filmed in a rough
style - but I believe what people will say will be compelling enough to hold
an audience's attention. My personnel experience is that people say the damnest
things.
timeline:
I figure I will spend on whole day and night out shooting and then a half
a day scaning for the best clips, then the other day and a half editing.
director bio:
Melinda Adams is just a chick with a camera, who has heard a lot of interesting
stories.
score: 18 out of 30 possible points
